What “Class 3” Means on Our Line
IPC-A-610 Class 3 is the only acceptable standard when the end product cannot tolerate a field failure — when a solder void, a tombstoned passive, or an underfilled BGA is the difference between a recalled ventilator and a quiet night for a procurement lead. At Noora, Class 3 is the floor, not the ceiling: every panel is built to the higher of the customer drawing or the Class 3 criterion, and every joint is checked by AOI, by 3D X-ray on BGAs, and by a named IPC-certified trainer who can trace any single solder joint back to the operator, stencil, and reflow profile that produced it.
We hold Class 3, AS9100D, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 13485 simultaneously because industrial buyers do not buy a single cert — they buy the discipline that keeps four certs current without one drifting. That discipline is owned by our QA director, our 12 certified IPC trainers, and the 87 engineers, technicians, and quality specialists who sign their initials on every traveler before a board leaves the line.

Non-Conformance Workflow
When a defect is caught — by AOI, by 3D X-ray, by an operator, or by a customer DFM review — it enters our Non-Conformance Action Process (NCAP). Every step below is owned by a named role.
Operator / AOI station · Line tech
The defect is flagged at the source — inline AOI, post-reflow 3D X-ray on BGAs, or flying-probe ICT — and the panel is quarantined within the same shift.
NPI Lab engineer · 4-axis BGA rework station
The full lot is held, traced by traveler ID, and re-inspected. Affected units are reworked in-house or scrapped with a documented disposition; no partial lots ship.
Named Noora engineer · avg. 14 yrs tenure
An 8D / 5-Why analysis is opened against the solder profile, stencil, DFM review, or component lot. Findings are reviewed by the principal engineer assigned to the program.
QA Director · signs the closure
Corrective action is verified on a re-run sample, the closure is countersigned by the QA Director, and the NCR summary is filed to the customer-facing quality portal.
